
Surgery Workshops & Seminars
Surgery research and teaching staff hold a number of ad hoc seminars and workshops to enable skills development for both students and practitioners. With an increasingly crowded curriculum these extra-curricular activities play an important role in medical education.

Monash University Surgical Interest Workshop
Professor Frank Rosenfeldt together with Ms Hannah Tan, Ms Sarah Tan and Mrs Samantha Dix organised the 3rd annual workshop for the Monash University Surgical Interest Group (MUSIG) in August 2011, which 24 students attended. Skills taught were suturing, knot tying, laparoscopic skills, scrubbing, gowning and gloving.
