Biography

 Ms Stephanie Merkouris was employed as a research assistant at the School of Primary Care in March 2010, working mainly within the Problem Gambling Research and Treatment Centre and the Healthy Ageing Research Unit (HARU). Stephanie has completed a Bachelor of Psychology from Monash University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from Deakin University. Stephanie is currently involved in the following projects and activities:

  • Development of clinical guidelines for the screening, assessment and treatment of problem gambling.
  • A Cochrane review on the treatment interventions for problem gambling.

Older men's health: examining rural and regional older CALD men's perceptions of ageing well and the barriers/facilitators for service utilisation.
