I really enjoy studying at Monash Peninsula.
Everyone I have encountered on campus has been very friendly and welcoming.
The small grounds make it a really enjoyable place to study, with the tutors and lecturers always willing to help.
I feel I will be well prepared to practice Occupational Therapy at the conclusion of my studies.

During the study of my Occupational Therapy Degree, I've gained a wealth of knowledge in which I have had various opportunities to practice in real working environments.
The practical structure of the OT course and constant support of the lecturers and tutoring staff has facilitated my success over the years and helped me reach heights I never imaged would be possible.
The friendships I've developed have been enjoyed during class, study and socially, and I can't wait until my friends also become my colleagues.
Monash has not only given me the opportunity to pursue my career of interest, but has also helped to make my time at University an exciting and memorable experience. |

Monash Occupational Therapy has prepared me with the skills to enable people with disabilities to participate in meaningful activities of everyday life.
Learning in a small class environment facilitated the development of close friendships.
The teaching staff have been extremely supportive throughout the duration of my course.

I commenced studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy the year after I finished my year 12 at secondary school.
I like the size of the Peninsula campus. I have found it easy to orientate myself to the university. The lectures aren't too crowded which has made it easier for the lecturers to learn the students' names.
Across my four years studying Occupational Therapy I have found the teaching staff to be very approachable, especially for complex subjects or for placement issues.
My favourite part of the Occupational Therapy course has been doing case based learning. I have found this a much easier way to understand specific conditions, and also to apply models of practice. I like the hands-on nature of the course including learning to make splints and wheelchair assessments. I enjoy that we have placement in every year as it consolidates what we learn and allows us to put theory into practice.

Over the past four years I have been given the opportunity to see the many facets of Occupational Therapy. Whether it be mental health, physical rehab, vocational rehab or hand therapy it is all based around the same holistic value increasing the functionability and independence of the consumers we meet.
Monash has provided an encouraging learning environment as the lectures and tutorials are personal and friendly.
I believe that Occupational Therapy is a great vocation as it is hands on helping people with their everyday living. I found from transferring from a large campus to the Peninsula campus that it is a much closer knit community and much more peaceful. Every building is easy to find and the buildings are reasonably new. My experience at Monash has been fun, friendly, educational and enlightening.

My experience of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy program at Monash University's beautiful Peninsula campus has been incredible.
I have found it to be a motivating learning environment, with exceptionally supportive teaching staff.
Within the course structure I have found there to be an extensive and diverse range of learning opportunities. By completing fieldwork throughout the course, I have been able to consolidate my learning and gain a ‘real life' experience of being an occupational therapist.
Undertaking this course was the best decision I have ever made.

I am currently completing my final year in the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy course offered at Monash University.
The Peninsula campus has an inviting atmosphere and over the last four years I have thoroughly enjoyed both the social and academic opportunities provided. In particular being a member of the Society of Occupational Therapy group, has allowed me to attend numerous functions and make lifelong friends.
Another highlight of my studies was travelling to Scotland to present my honours research at an international conference. I am now looking forward to working as a qualified occupational therapist in the near future.
