Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics HonoursCourse Code: 3865 ~ Course Abbreviation: BNutrDiet(Hons) ~ Total credit points required: 48 ~ 1 year full-time, 2 years part-timeThis program is for top ranking graduates of a dietetic course. It will allow participants to develop their research skills and competencies, learn specific techniques and gain a deeper understanding of a selected aspect of human nutrition. The coursework component (Honours degree of Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics for 2010 course overview) will be conducted in semester one, and includes modules on project organization, literature reviewing, study design, data collection, data analysis, scientific report writing, and submitting work for peer review. In turn this contributes towards the successful completion of a research project.
ApplicationsApplications for entry (Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics Honours 2010 application form (pdf 76 KB)) into the BND honours program can be made for either semester 1 or semester 2 of the academic year. Applications for semester 1 2010 will close on 27 November 2009 and for semester 2 2010 the closing date will be 29 May 2010.
