Innovation in Interprofessional Clinical Placements
An exciting innovation in interprofessional learning and clinical placements for Monash undergraduate health students is underway as part of the Increased Clinical Training Capacity (ICTC) project at Southern Clinical School.

ARC grant targets socio-economic inequalities in obesity
Health researchers, including Dr Alison Beauchamp from the School of Nursing and Midwifery, have been awarded an ARC Linkage Grant to determine the effectiveness of obesity prevention policies for lower socio-economic groups.
ARC Grant success
Dr Jennifer Newton, a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, has been awarded more than $140,000 in an ARC Discovery Grant to investigate factors that impact how student nurses learn while working in hospitals.
Gippsland celebrates double degree grads
The School of Nursing and Midwifery Gippsland campus is celebrating the first cohort of Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Midwifery students to complete the four-year degree and their success in securing sought-after graduate year employment in 2012.
