I joined Gippsland Medical School as a Project Officer in June, 2007.  Since that time I have been involved in a number of qualitative research projects, which relate to medical education.  As this is a very new area of research for me (that is, both conducting qualitative research and the subject matter), I have found the experience to be both challenging and rewarding, and I eagerly look forward to being a part of the future research for Gippsland Medical School.

Prior to commencing my position at Gippsland Medical School, I completed my BSc (Hons) at Monash University in 2006, majoring in Human Anatomy and Physiology, with a minor in Pathology.  I undertook my Honours year within the Department of Physiology, studying Renal Physiology, specifically, examining the functional effects of Angiotensin II on the renal sympathetic innervation and the neural control of renal blood flow.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Gippsland Medical School and wish you the best of luck for the coming year. I am sure you will soon realise, that Gippsland Medical School is a fantastic place to be.
