Community Outreach
Part of the University's mission is to serve the community more broadly (see Monash University's Community Service Policy). Department of Immunology staff engage actively on a number of different levels with different communities to promote an awareness and understanding of the discipline of immunology's fundamental principles and current active research.

- A celebration of Professor Jacques Miller's life and work. Prof Miller is known as the Modern 'Father' of Immunology
- Day of Immunology Primary School competition. 2011 was the inaugural competition, and the winning class is pictured, above right.
