
Fostering International Research Collaborations: Experiences in China

Colette is recognised as a national and international leader in psychology and health. Her research focuses on healthy ageing and improving quality of life for older people, chronic disease self-management and consumer involvement in health care decision-making. Colette has a long history of involvement with the ERA initiative including chairing the ERA 2009 conference in Melbourne.
Colette plays a leading role in the Monash China Health Initiatives and will be talking about her experiences undertaking healthy ageing research in China, highlighting the challenges and opportunities involved in international research endeavours.
