Linton Harriss is a NHMRC PhD scholar working in the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine (DEPM), Monash University, and The Cancer Council Victoria. His research is focussed on the effect of alcohol and diet on cardiovascular disease within the Melbourne Collaborative Cohort Study.
Prior to this Linton was working as a Research Project Manager in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Monash University, The Alfred Hospital, conducting single and multi-centre clinical trials for heart failure and hypertension.
His current academic responsibilities include teaching in various research courses run by DEPM. These include Introductory Epidemiology for tha Graduate Diploma and Master of Public Health, and Introduction to Clinical Research.
