Nick completed an undergraduate degree in medicine and surgery, graduating from Monash University in 1991. He worked as a suburban GP until 2000. Since 1998 he has also developed computer programming skills and was involved in establishing an IT consulting company.

Nick is due to complete a Master of Biostatistics (MBiostat) through the Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia (BCA) in 2007. Since joining CCRE he has been primarily involved in statistical analyses from the MIG registry.
