The International Public Health Unit

IPHU

The International Public Health Unit (IPHU) involves a team comprising researchers and other staff from Monash University (Australia, Malaysia and South Africa campuses). The main aim of IPHU is to develop research, education and capacity building programs that improve health and well being related to the origins, prevention and management of chronic non-communicable diseases.

Funding has recently been awarded through VicHealth ARC Linkage Project-Industry Partner Scheme to investigate capacity building and cultural competency models to improve Indigenous physical activity levels.
