Bioethics BMedSc at Oxford For the last three years, a medical student has undertaken a BMedSc in Bioethics in the Oxford Uehiro centre for practical bioethics at Oxford University under the supervision of Prof Julian Savulescu. The factulty is pleased to announce that such an opportunity may again be possible in 2012. Interested students are asked to submit an expression of interest that includes a CV, an outline of their interest and experience in Bioethics (no more than one page) and an idenfitication of specific areas of interest in Bioethics. Interested students are encouraged to peruse the Centre's website at http://www.practicalethics.ox.ac.uk Expressions of interest should be submitted to Ms Cathy Nolan at bmedsc@monash.edu by 4 pm on Friday September 2.
Prof Savulescu will be visiting Monash University in September and will undertake interviews to identify the most suitable candidate(s). It is likely that the faculty will provide some support to the successful applicant(s), though the extent of that support is yet to be determined.
