Undergraduate Prizes

Each year the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department awards prizes for its top students.

Stuart Stone Medal

A medal and prize of $500 is awarded to the top student in fourth-year biochemistry and molecular biology honours. Students can be enrolled in either Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Biomedical Science.

 A prize of $300 is awarded to the top student completing a minimum of 24 points (4 units) of the third-year units BCH3021/BCH3031/BCH3042/BCH3052/BCH3990.

 A prize of $200 is awarded to the top students in each of the 2nd year sequences: one in the combination of units BCH2011 and BCH2022, and one in the combination of units MOL2011 and MOL2022.
