World Health Summit: the evolution of medicine The World Health Summit is a leading international meeting of researchers, doctors, politicians and other healthcare stakeholders. The inaugural summit was held in October at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin in Berlin under the patronage of the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Federal President Nikolas Sarkozy. Monash participated as a member of the prestigious M8 Alliance of Academic Health Centers and Medical Universities.
